COON RAPIDS, Minn. -- City staff along with members of the City Council will be on hand next week to kick off the "Summer in the City" neighborhood meetings.

The first meeting takes place Tuesday, June 26 from 6:30-8 p.m. in Ward One at Cardinal Woods. Meetings are planned in the other four wards on the following dates:

July 24 - Ward 2, Burl Oaks Park
July 31 - Ward 3, Parkside Park
August 20 - Ward 4, Vineyards Park
August 28 - Ward 5, Aspen Park

Residents will get an update on city and neighborhood issues and then have a chance to ask questions. There will also be fire trucks, police cars and other displays to check out along with free ice cream!
